The arc sensor, mounted in the lamp housing, is a remarkable feature. It automatically turns the fan on as soon as it senses an arc flash and shuts off 50 seconds after the arc goes out. You can also control the unit independently with the hood - mounted switches. This kit comes with a lamp housing equipped with an arc sensor, a control box, interconnect wire, a hood - mounted lamp/fan switch, and an instruction manual. It's a must - have for Statiflex 400® - MS.

Using this Lincoln lamp kit is easy. First, install the lamp housing with the arc sensor on the wall. Connect all the components as described in the instruction manual. The arc sensor will take care of turning the fan on and off based on the arc flash. You can also use the hood - mounted switches to control the unit manually.
