This Lincoln TC-3 travel carriage can carry the head and controls along a suitable-length beam in either direction. It offers flexible operation modes, either automatically with weld controls or manually. The speed can be continuously adjusted from 5 - 75 ipm (0.1 - 1.9 m/min) without gear changes. It runs on 115V AC, 60 or 50 hertz power from Lincoln power sources. Ideal for tandem arc (2 or 3 heads) and Twinarc - tandem arc (up to 4 wires) installations.
Using the Lincoln TC - 3 travel carriage is easy. First, make sure it's connected to a Lincoln power source that provides 115V AC, 60 or 50 hertz power. You can place it on a beam of suitable length. Decide whether you want to operate it automatically with the weld controls or manually. To set the speed, use the continuous speed control to get a speed between 5 - 75 ipm (0.1 - 1.9 m/min). For tandem arc or Twinarc - tandem arc installations, just follow the normal setup process for these types of systems. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the power connections to ensure they're secure. Keep the carriage clean from dust and debris.
