Description
The TransSteel multiprocess unit stands out in its class. With over 2000 different steel alloys, welding steel can be tricky due to its metallurgic qualities. In steel construction, it's crucial to match the heat input to the material thickness to prevent hardness peaks and cracking. The TransSteel series provides numerous options tailored to these unique steel properties.

Using your Fronius TransSteel 2700 MIG welder is easy. First, connect the welding power source to a suitable power supply. Make sure to choose the right power level (270A, 350A, or 500A) according to your welding needs. Attach the MTG 320i MIG gun and the ground clamp properly. Then, set up the steel consumable and the drive rolls of the right size (.030' or .035'). Don't forget to connect the gas adapter and flow meter. When welding, adjust the heat input based on the thickness of the steel to avoid problems like hardness peaks and cracking. For spot and interval welding, use the standard settings on the machine. If you need single - phase operation, just enable the optional feature. As for maintenance, keep the machine clean and free of dust. Regularly check the wire feeding system to ensure smooth operation. And always store the welder in a dry place when not in use.
