Description
The Precision TIG® 275 is a super - versatile shop machine. It's perfect for all kinds of TIG or Stick welding maintenance jobs, even with 5/32 - in. (4.0 mm) stick electrodes. It features the patented Micro - Start™ II Technology. This tech boosts starting and arc stability, allowing for more precise welds and crater fills.
SIMPLICITY, CONTROL AND RANGE
Simplicity through technology: The AC Auto Balance® automatically finds the best mix of cleaning and penetration when welding aluminum. You can also take full control and adjust the AC Balance® to change the cleaning action or penetration on aluminum.
Advanced Pulse Control panel (Optional on the Precision TIG 275): Upgrade with the Advanced Control Panel to get the TIG pulser. It helps reduce material distortion from too much heat and moderates filler metal deposition for a consistent bead look.
Wide output range: With an amperage range of 2 to 340 amps, you can handle materials of all thicknesses.
Side - mounted torch holder and connections: It makes cable management easy and protects the cables. There's also a place to put your torch when you're not using it.

Accessories

Using the Lincoln Precision 275 TIG Welder is quite straightforward. First, make sure to connect all the included components properly, like the water cooler, gas regulator, and torch. For welding aluminum, you can let the AC Auto Balance® do its job to get the best cleaning and penetration. Or, if you want more control, adjust the AC Balance® as needed. If you've added the optional Advanced Pulse Control panel, use the TIG pulser to avoid over - heating the material and get a consistent bead. When choosing the amperage, pick a value between 2 and 340 amps based on the thickness of the material you're working with. After use, put the torch in the side - mounted holder to keep it safe. As for maintenance, regularly check the water hoses for leaks and make sure the gas regulator is working properly. Keep the welder in a dry and clean place to prevent damage. Also, refer to the full spec sheet for more detailed information and safety guidelines.
