First, make sure you're using the right power source as it can handle single - phase input voltages from 208–480V without manual linking. When setting up your weld, you can use the Pro - Set feature to easily adjust parameters like Balance, Frequency, Pulse, and DIG. This gets rid of the guesswork and gives you more confidence. To start the arc, you can rely on the Blue Lightning™ high - frequency arc starter or the Hot Start™ technology for quick and reliable starts. Remember, this is a DC - only welder, so it won't work for aluminum. For maintenance, keep the machine clean and use the Sleep Timer and Fan - On - Demand™ features to save energy and reduce wear.
