208/230 volt models have 115 volt auxiliary power receptacles with 20 amp service for powering water coolers or other tools. Other models have a 6 amp service.
There's a standard torch parts storage compartment and cable hanger to keep you organized.
Ready-Pak models include a Pro-Torch PTA-17 air-cooled 150 amp torch with a new 12.5 ft. (3.8 m) Ultra-Flex cable.
You can add an optional understorage cart for extra storage and portability.

Using the Lincoln Precision TIG 225 AC/DC TIG Welder is straightforward. First, make sure you connect the welder to the right power source according to its voltage requirements. The 208/230 volt models come with a standard NEMA 6 - 50 plug on a 9 ft. input power cord. The 115V receptacles can be used to power additional tools like a water cooler.
When welding, the AC Auto - Balance feature will automatically set the best cleaning and penetration levels for aluminum welds. You can also use the free built - in TIG pulser to control the heat input in the weld. The digital meter and simple controls make it easy to adjust settings.
For safety, always follow the guidelines in the TIG Procedure Guide and GTAW (TIG) Handbook included with the product. Wear appropriate protective gear like welding gloves and goggles.
In terms of maintenance, the Fan - As - Needed (F.A.N.) system helps prevent overheating and reduces dust in the machine. But still, keep the welder in a clean and dry place. Regularly check the cables, torch parts, and connections for any signs of wear or damage. Replace any worn - out parts promptly. If you need extra storage or portability, you can add the optional understorage cart.
