Using the Fronius Ignis 180XT is easy. First, make sure to choose the right power source and connect the appropriate mains cable. The device comes with a 7 - segment display that shows the configured parameters clearly. You can quickly adjust settings according to your welding needs. For the HotStart function, it will automatically increase the current at the start of ignition to make it easier to start welding, especially when using rutile and Cel electrodes. The SoftStart function helps maintain a stable arc when starting with low - current electrodes. When using the TAC function for tacking, just make one spot and the pulsed arc will do the rest. When ending TIG welding, the TIG Comfort Stop feature will turn off the current automatically, giving you a better weld result. Remember, this welder can handle long power leads thanks to the PFC technology, but make sure the leads are in good condition. For maintenance, keep the device clean and dry. Check the cables regularly for any signs of wear and tear. If you need to change the input power, it's easy to exchange the mains cable and plug. And don't forget to follow the safety instructions in the specification sheet for safe operation.
